Plan your time at the Rotary Community Tree lighting! Start at the Vancouver Waterfront when Santa and Mrs. Clause arrive by tugboat with the Christmas ships. Walk up to Esther Short Park as the vehicle light parade brings Santa and Mrs. Clause to the park to light the tree. Or just stay Esther Short park and enjoy all the festivities! Something for everyone!

3:30 p.m. Food vendors open on 6th street & in Esther Short Park

3:45 p.m. Vancouver Mayor rededicates the clock tower in Esther Short Park
and unveils the new Vancouver flag

Carriage rides and Loci rides, sponsored by Schwabe law firm, will begin at the west end of 6th St (on Esther Drive)

Special appearance and performance by Anna, Elsa and Olaf, from Journey Theater. The characters will then return to the Frozen photo booth for more pictures.

The grand lighting of the Christmas Tree Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive in the Light Parade, followed by Santa photos at the Columbia Credit Union Toyland/Santa Booth.

Photos with Santa in the Columbia Credit Union Toyland/Santa Photo Booth. Santa will arrive just after 6:00pm after he lights the tree.


Vancouver Waterfront Activities sponsored by Waterfront Vancouver

4:00 p.m.

 

The School of Rock, While we wait for Santa to arrive, Vancouver youth musicians will perform at the Southwest corner of the AC Marriott, with the Rotary Club of Vancouver serving hot chocolate and cookies.

4:30pm

 

A festive flotilla of Christmas ships and a Tidewater tugboat carrying Santa and Mrs. Claus will parade down the river.

5:00 p.m.

 

Santa and Mrs. Claus make their grand arrival at the Vancouver Waterfront in front of the AC Marriott.

5:30 p.m.

 

The Waste Connections Light Parade begins, journeying from the AC Marriott up to Grant Street to 6th Street and around Esther Short Park, where Santa and Mrs. Claus will disembark to light the Holiday Tree.
